ANTHROPY 2022

Terms and conditions of online sale to an individual or to a business.

1.1. These Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale detail the terms and conditions applicable to the booking and purchase of all passes for the Anthropy gathering taking place from the 2nd to 4th November 2022, hereafter referred to as the “Event” and where applicable the “Services”.  The Event and Services are delivered by Anthropy Ltd, a Social Impact Limited Company Registered No: 12486710, whose registered office is at 41 Severn St, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 2JA

1.2. These Terms and Conditions of Sale constitute the entirety of the single agreement between all parties and supersede any prior agreement(s) concerning the same subjects as those dealt with in this agreement.

2. Acceptance and modification of the Terms and Conditions of Sale

2.1. Registration on the Anthropy website and on the Anthropy app, operated by Grip, or authorised registration on behalf of an individual, which leads to the acquisition of a pass to the Event, implies prior acceptance of the version of the Terms and Conditions of Sale in force by the user participating in the Event. This places them under an obligation to strictly comply with these terms. A user who acquires a pass to the Event is hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”.

2.2. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time, no recourse being available to Participants in this case.

2.3. Any such modifications will be binding on the Participant as soon as they are published online. In consequence, it is incumbent on the Participant to remain aware of the Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are permanently available on the Anthropy website. Any use of the Services, including the Anthropy App, after modification of the Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale equates to tacit acceptance by the user of the most recent version of the Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale in force.

3. Participation at Anthropy

3.1 Registration on the Anthropy website and Anthropy app (operated by Grip) allows for the Participant to become a member of the Anthropy gathering taking place at The Eden Project in Cornwall between the 2nd & 4th November 2022.

3.2 Anthropy is an in-person gathering which affords access to a variety of sessions, stages and buildings as publicised via the Anthropy website and App. Additional social events and by invitation only sponsored sessions constitute additional opportunities not covered by the standard pass. Such invitations are at the discretion of the organisers of Anthropy and its sponsors and content partners.

3.3 The acquisition of a Pass by the Participant gives access to all the sessions except those covered by paragraph 3.2, where access is limited with specific either conditions, pertaining to the size of available space, or are private invited sessions and events organised throughout the duration of the Event by Anthropy sponsors and content partners.

3.4 Sessions, workshops or other events such as social activities and off-site visits, may be changed up until the particular day of the event session. In the Event of alteration of the description of a session, or change in speaker, Anthropy will publish if needed the new description for each session on the Anthropy App.  No guarantee can be made of a particular speaker or session content being available due to third party aspects, for example sickness or travel conditions.

3.5 Access to sessions will be possible within the limit of the places available. The Organiser cannot under any circumstances guarantee participants that they will be able to have access to their chosen sessions due to the physical constraints on site. The Organiser advises participants to use their own judgement in when to arrive at sessions in advance of the time indicated in the programme.

3.6 The distinct location of the Eden Project and the specific commercial use of some spaces, means that certain areas of the in-person conference (for example, shops, speakers’ rooms, exhibitor spaces and certain lounges) are unavailable for the duration and are closed to those not authorised. The Participant is informed and accepts that access to these areas is not allowed for public entrance.

4. Pass Purchases

4.1. Passes can only be purchased on this official website and are payable solely in UK Sterling. No other website publisher is appointed to sell entrance Passes. The Organisers shall not be liable for participant recourse due to being unable to access Anthropy, if purchased via an alternative non- online retailer. Anthropy will not be liable in the case of the unauthorised transfer or sale of a pass which then leads to an individual not being allowed access to the Event.

4.2 Passes sold online via this website give access to Anthropy for the full three days of the duration, within the hours published prior to the Event and as illustrated on the Anthropy App.

4.3 Participants agree that the Organisers reserve the right to modify, change and adjust the price of a ticket type as well as create additional ticket types without notification.  The Organiser is free to promote special packages/prices and/or offers for a definite period. Conditions and period of validity of such promotional prices and/or offers will be subject to a specific promotion on the Anthropy website.

4.4 Participants agree that the Organisers can promote to discreet partners, networks, associations and or other groups, special rates of passes in order to fulfil partner agreements and ensure the diversity and appropriate participation at the Event. This in no way affords a claim of change in pass fee as promoted on Anthropy at any given time.

4.6 Participants understand and agree with the Event Access Policy as detailed below:

4.7 Anthropy takes place across the full public access of the Eden Project in Cornwall. There are multiple spaces and stages at any time with access to these spaces allocated on a first come, first served basis for all pass holders. The exception to this is the closed sessions created in partnership which are for invited guests only and those where the limited number of spaces, requires pre-booking in advance.  This includes all manner of sessions and social events on site. Anthropy also reserves its right to change this Access Policy at any time, alongside access to specific areas, due to the fluid and varied nature of the site and the gathering.

The sale of Passes will be firm and definitive once the purchase has been validated by the Participant and confirmed by the Organiser, and no reimbursement or exchange will be possible if the Participant is unable to attend the Event.
